[Lineaux]

Lineaux didn't see an outlet to another chamber beneath the house, but thought it best to check. He moved towards the farthest wall and scanned with his cursor to see if anything interesting popped up. He found nothing, all four walls and shelves yeilded nothing to him, so he turned to the ladder. As he alighted on the upper floor, he realized that all around him the lights were going out behind him, as though leading him back the way he'd come.

Eerie. He wondered if the others were experiencing similar situations. He withdrew his Whip and hurried toward the main entrance where they'd split up. Behind the goggles the player was biting his lip. This was beginning to get exciting.

[Roen]

Okay now this was getting weird. Roen was still in the upstairs when the lights started to slowly go out. He gripped his chakrams, preparing himself for a battle if need be. Maybe I should meet back up with the other. Gabriel thought to himself. While he wasn't afraid of darkness one bit it would be a good idea if they regrouped. With that thought in mind Roen exited the room and began to walk back to the main entrance.

[Gretelle]

She was intending to explore further when the lights ahead of her vanished, leaving her with her candle and, in the distance, the lights behind her. That definitely meant something was happening, so Gretelle turned and began to hurry back to where she had parted with the rest of the group. Maybe someone had found something? Whatever was going to happen, it would be better for all of them if they were together to face it.

[Kagallie]

Kagallie flailed as Onyx went Afk. She whined a little then scanned the room. A key! She snatched it and took Onyx's hand and draged the afk girl along with her. "Wake up Onyx" she said softly as she said softly as she flailed her arms agian. Once back in the main room she whimpered "Guys Onyx is afk!" she said tantruming a little " But I found a key! Can we go upstairs now? I want to leave" A soft sniffle passed her lips as she nodded softly.

-insert some chit chat nonsense Then then all go upstairs~! (sorry for the godmoding)-

Once everyone was upstairs (even Onyx who had been dragged) The door to downstairs slammed shut. A soft wind blew across the floor.a few feet infront of the players the NPC body laid motionless. if that wasn't bad enough a few seconds later a monster fell from the ceiling and let out a screech. Before instantly trying to attack the AFK player.

[Lineaux]

Lineaux Arrived at their regroup point just as Gretelle and Roen were returning. "Looks like the lights are leading us where we need to be." He looked up as the lights above the flickered. "We need to find that key to the attic." He looked in the direction of the Study. Kagallie soon emerged from the darkness with Onyx dragging behind. literally. Lin didn't even have to ask why. "AFK? well it's a good thing you picked her to follow, Kagallie."

The group spoke some words and then looked up as the lights when out above them, leaving only a faint glow from somewhere above the stairwell. It was eerie, and they were all glad to have regrouped, Lin was sure. They ascended the stairs the the attic, and Kagallie unlocked the door. Inside they found the NPC girl, lying inanimately on the floor. "I think it's safe to assume we're too late." No sooner had he spoke the words than the screech was heard, and the monster descended on them.

Lineaux saw that it was headed for their weakest link; the AFK girl. He Lashed out at it with his skill, "Vak Lariat!" The whip, wreathed in flame, struck out at the creature as it descended upon the party. "Get Onyx out of here, somebody!"

[Kagallie]

A fire ensnared the group causing each one to slowly take damage.
Each person has till Midnight Florida time, to post once, and they will gain two levels.
Everyone will gain their items regardless.Come midnight the field will be closed.

[Lineaux]

((Gotta beat this thing, guys!! For The World! and for Sparta!!))
Lineaux winced as he took the fire damage. He Returned the attack with Four lashes with his Whip. He wondered how much HP this monster must have, or what level it was. It didn't help that his entire party had seemed to have gone AFK or were just scared stiff. Even if he died here, it was a pretty neat event and he didn't regret participating.

After finishing his combo, he prepared to heal the first person to take damage with one of his health drinks.
