Okay okay, are we live?
Said the reporter on the TV. He speaking to the video camera man, who curtly nodded. The reporter then pulled the microphone to his mouth. The scene behind him was a charred old building, smoke still rising from the wreckage.
The man on TV cleared his throat, and began his report.
Good morning! We are coming to you live at Dynes City, where a fire had started last night. Behind us is what remains of the Pokemon laboratory in Dynes. The cause of the fire is still unknown, but we have reason to believe that the culprit is Blythe Alterux, the supposed leader of Team Nightmare. Our eye witness, a local in the area, Mr. James Treble, is here to testify his account.
The reporter handed the microphone to a new man who came into the shot. This new man was in his late forties, wearing, what it seemed like, his pajamas. James fumbled over the microphone, in the end, the reporter still held on to the mic, switching it between his mouth and James's.
Mr. Treble, could you tell us what you saw last night?
Well, I was making a cup of tea for myself before going to bed. It was around 11pm, maybe a little past that. My kitchen overseas the laboratory you see, and I saw a very strange thing. I saw a man, I assume he was a man, skulking around the premises. The man had a Houndoom with him. Now, you could tell it was Houndoom because of its horns you see, so I'm quite sure it was Houndoom. Anyway, the man and pokemon broke in through the window. A while later, they came back out from the same window. And then, the Houndoom simply let out a flames, and they ran off, leaving the building to burn. That's all I saw.
Do you have any guesses on why they broke in?
I suppose they wanted to steal something? That's all I can really think off as a reason. But I'm not sure if they really took something, it was too dark to be certain.
Thank you for your time Mr. Treble.
No trouble at all.
Well, that's the morning new folks. Authorities are still trying to find evidence of theft but are having trouble doing so, since most of the building and the things inside have been burned to ashes. This is Jeff Corwin from Shuckle News Network, signing out.
Three months have passes since the laboratory had been burned to the ground. No one was ever sure who or why the culprit did such a thing but it did seem that things have calmed down. A new laboratory has been made, bigger, better and much more fire-proof than before. Welcoming trainers, once again, to the Lasal Region.
